Welcome to your

What Every Pastor Ought to Know

Cohort

Small Church Academy is a small-group gathering of Pastors who meet regularly to study important aspects of their ministries/Christian service and to share accountability and encouragement from like-minded, caring friends.  Relational-based learning is a collaborative learning style in which each group of individuals advance through a program of study and time together.  The goal of each module (Pastor, Church Leaders, Church Members, New Believers) is to focus on personal discipleship, ministry potential and spiritual development.

If you have found your way to this page, you should be connected with a small group. If you are not, please contact Small Church Academy at small.church.academy@bscln.net.

This cohort will be using Adrian Roger’s “What Every Pastor Ought to Know” shared by our partner in ministry Love Worth Finding.

  • What Every Pastor Ought to Know is practical, everyday training for pastors by Dr. Adrian Rogers, a leading pastor.

  • Anyone desiring to understand more about the roles and responsibilities of a pastor should take this course. It is delivered personally by Dr. Adrian Rogers, many times known as a "pastor to pastors" because of his love and concern for pastors. Also included are sessions on Dr. Rogers's own methods for sermon preparation and delivery.

  • -This Cohort will run as two seasons of 7 weekly meetings.
-Each week includes a video and a downloadable worksheet.

  • Known for his unique ability to simplify profound truth so that it can be applied to everyday life, Adrian Rogers was one of the most effective preachers, respected Bible teachers, and Christian leaders of our time.

For over fifty years, through his evangelistic zeal and uncompromising commitment to the Word of God, he consistently presented the Good News of Jesus Christ with strong conviction, compassion, and integrity.

Even though the Lord called him home in 2005, the plainspoken, timeless truth presented in his messages still reaches into more than 150 countries around the world and lives are being transformed daily.

Season 1

At the end of Season 1, the Cohort will be given the option of continuing to Season 2, which will use weeks 8-14.
